Installation steps

·         Choose a location: Select an indoor area for the unit that has enough space for airflow and is near an exterior wall.

·         Install the mounting bracket: Securely attach the mounting plate to the wall, ensuring it is level and can support the indoor unit's weight.

·         Drill a hole: Drill a small hole through the exterior wall to run the conduit (pipes and wires) through.

·         Run pipes and wires: Carefully thread the refrigerant pipes, electrical wires, and drainage pipe through the hole. Secure them with tape and ensure the drainage pipe is at the bottom for proper flow.

·         Connect the indoor unit: Lift the indoor unit and connect its lines to the corresponding ones on the mounting bracket plate. It should snap into place.

·         Mount the outdoor unit: Install the outdoor unit on a stable, level surface (like the ground or a wall bracket), away from excessive dust or debris.

·         Connect the outdoor unit: Connect the other end of the pipes and wires to the outdoor unit. Connections are often color-coded for easier matching.

·         Finalize the connection: Connect the drainage pipe from the indoor unit to a suitable drain or pump.

Important considerations

·         Professional installation: Wall-mounted AC systems are connected by refrigerant lines, which require professional handling by a qualified technician with F-gas accreditation.

·         Manufacturer guidelines: Follow the specific installation instructions provided by the manufacturer, including any limitations on the distance between the indoor and outdoor units.

·         Site assessment: A professional will ensure the installation site is suitable and that all codes and regulations are met.

·         System testing: After the installation is complete, the technician will perform leak tests and a system pressure check before turning the unit on.
